EVENT: University of Rochester Chamber Orchestra Concert

TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 20, in Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester River Campus

ADMISSION: Free and open to the public

Note: Parking is free on University lots on the weekend.

The University of Rochester Chamber Orchestra will give a performance at 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 20, in Strong Auditorium on the River Campus.

David Harman, director of orchestral activities and professor of music at the University, will conduct the orchestra in works that include Stravinsky's Pulcinella Suite, Mozart's Concerto for Horn No. 1, and Tchaikovsky's Suite No. 4, "Mozartiana." Senior Matthew Beecher will be featured on natural horn.

The 45-member organization presents four free concerts each year in Strong Auditorium. In addition, the orchestra has performed in such places as Italy, Jamaica, Grand Cayman Island, and Georgetown University.

The concert is free and open to the public. Please contact the College Music Department at (585) 275-2828 at least five days in advance to request any special accommodations.
