The University of Rochesterís Chamber Singers will present a concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, in the Welles-Brown Room in the Rush Rhees Library on the University of Rochesterís River Campus.

The Chamber Singers will perform a program of music by George Gershwin, featuring both choral numbers and solo songs. This is a kickoff concert for their upcoming tour to New York, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C., during spring break.

Led by L. Brett Scott, assistant professor of music and director of choral activities, the Chamber Singers is a select choral ensemble dedicated to the performance of all periods and styles of quality choral literature.

The concert is free and open to the public; however, donations will be accepted to help defray the costs of the tour. For more information, contact the music department at (585) 275-2828.
