ADDITIONAL EVENT: Closing reception and artist's talk from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 8, in Hartnett Gallery

ADMISSION: Free and open to the public
Note: Parking is available on University lots after 7 p.m. weeknights and all weekend.

New York City-based artist Gina Cacioppo explores the intersection between art and clothing in her exhibition "An Ostentatious Body of Work," which can be seen at the Harnett Gallery in Wilson Commons on the University of Rochester's River Campus from Monday, March 8, through Thursday, April 8.

A closing reception and talk by Cacioppo will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, in the gallery.

Cacioppo, who specializes in sculpting and mixed media, holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from Syracuse University and is currently continuing her studies at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She has had two solo shows in Syracuse and several group shows in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Oregon and Florence, Italy.

Hours for the Harnett Gallery are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free and open to the public.
