The University of Rochester Ballet Performance Group will hold its seventh annual spring show at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 4, in Strong Auditorium on the University's River Campus.
Headlined "We're Dancing," the program will feature numbers from classical pointe to lyrical ballet, hip hop, and tap, using musical pieces ranging from composers like John Philip Sousa to performers like Harry Conick, Michael Jackson, and Elton John.
The Ballet Performance Group focuses on ballet techniques and applying those techniques to other dance genres like ballet, jazz, tap, and hip hop. Student members perform at both on- and off-campus venues.
Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for the general public. They can be purchased in advance at the Common Market in Wilson Commons on the River Campus and at the door. For more information, call 585-275-5911.
