The University is partnering with nine peer institutions to establish a consortium to explore a new, for-credit, online course program called "Semester Online."

Primo is the first to hold this endowed position, which recognizes a multidisciplinary scholar and teacher whose work bridges two or more academic fields.

The Wentworths made the gift "in grateful appreciation to the University for its mission of education and research," designating it to the "long-term facility needs of the Warner School of Education."

The award recognizes Ryan's "significant contribution in the field of psychology, human behavior, and well-being worldwide."

This October, the David T. Kearns Center for Leadership & Diversity in Arts, Sciences & Engineering will mark the 10th anniversary of its founding and the 20th anniversary of the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program. The center also celebrates three new grants totaling $3.9 million for its Upward Bound and McNair programs.
