One of the earliest images of the 19th-century abolitionist is on loan at the River Campus Libraries through February. While here, the 1848 portrait will feature in a larger exhibition about the University’s work on researching and preserving daguerreotypes.

A team led by professors Steven Manly and Kevin McFarland was honored “for the fundamental discovery of neutrino oscillations, revealing a new frontier beyond, and possibly far beyond, the standard model of particle physics.”

Psychology professor Harry Reis has been awarded the 2015 Career Contribution Award by the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP). The award honors scholars who have made major theoretical, methodological, or empirical contributions to the field.

This is the first year that Public Safety is participating in the Willow Domestic Violence Center’s annual Purple Box campaign to collect new holiday gifts for over 300 children in crisis.

Allyn Professor of Medical Optics, director of the Center for Visual Science, and dean for research in Arts, Science & Engineering.

The combined master’s degree ceremony will give master’s graduates from October, March and May an opportunity to walk across the stage and individually celebrate their academic achievement.
