The pioneering Middle English Texts Series “puts the literature out there for everybody,” making medieval English texts available to scholars and students around the world.

English professor Russell Peck is being remembered as much for his eminent medieval scholarship as his excellence in teaching.

The former Midnight Rambler is finding success on the London stage. Bat Out of Hell: The Musical makes its North American premiere in Toronto in October.

The Kindrick-CARA Award is presented annually to a member of the organization for their leadership in developing, organizing, and sponsoring work in medieval studies. Peck has been a faculty member at the University for 54 years, during which time he has received numerous commendations.

During the 3rd International Congress of the John Gower Society, scholars will explore the life and work of Gower, a contemporary of Geoffrey Chaucer, and one of the major poets during the reign of Richard II.
