Undergraduate education, information technology, and data governance are getting organizational enhancements and new leaders going into the 2021–22 academic year.

Trained as an economist with 20 years of experience at the Federal Reserve, Sandra (San) Cannon’s job is to help the University make better use of the data generated by hundreds of offices and departments.

Cannon will collaborate with IT leaders and , data officers for initiatives in eight key data domains—finance, human resources, student, research, faculty, clinical, facilities, and alumni & advancement. Her appointment begins July 1.
