Writing Speaking and Argument Program

Doctoral student Clara Auclair, who works as a digitization specialist in River Campus Libraries, and Cameron Morgan ’19 (T5), a public speaking fellow in the Writing, Speaking, and Argument Program were honored during National Student Employment Week.

A unique approach to learning to communicate their professional identity gives Rochester students an opportunity to connect with and learn from alumni, parents, and community members.

May 1 marks the third annual UR Night to Write. Writing consultants, tutors, and research librarians are on hand at Rush Rhees Library to help answer student questions or share strategies if a writer feels stuck.

In a partnership between the University's Memorial Art Gallery and the College's Writing, Speaking, and Argument Program, art objects become teaching tools to help students think and communicate critically.
