Professional Certification
Research-related professional certifications are increasingly recognized by pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies as an indication of professionalism, engagement and credibility. Certification is available through both the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA). Additional information can be found on their respective websites:
The Office for Human Subject Protection (OHSP) encourages eligible study team members to seek certification and will reimburse examination fees for all employees that receive a passing grade on the examination. The office will also reimburse employees re-certification fee upon completion of continuing education requirements, as defined the certifying body. Please see OHSP's Guideline for Professional Certification Reimbursement for additional information.
Questions regarding certification, reimbursement and preparation materials may be directed to Kelly Unsworth at (585) 275-5244 or email.
