OHSP has recently updated the following policies:
Policy 101 Maintenance of Policies
- Revisions include:
- Updates to the policy review schedule, which now requires review of existing policies every 5 years (applicable to OHSP policies only)
- Editorial/administrative updates
- Revisions include:
- Updates to training requirements for the Institutional Official (IO), Research Subjects Review Board (RSRB) Chairs and Members, and OHSP staff, effective for new IOs, RSRB chairs and members, and OHSP staff going forward only (training requirements for study staff conducting human subject research have not changed)
- Clarification regarding documentation of training completed via the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) in Click IRB
- Clarification regarding training requirements for external collaborators when the research falls under the purview of the RSRB
