Martha Hollander Marsh was named president and chief executive officer of Stanford Hospital & Clinics in Stanford, Conn. . . . Kenneth Shore was named the 2001 recipient of Rutgers' Peterson Prize for outstanding contributions to the field of applied psychology. He chairs a child study team for the Hamilton Township Public Schools.

Susan Bass Levin was appointed commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs after serving as mayor of Cherry Hill for 14 years.

Elaine Graf (see '73 School of Nursing). . . . John Hewitt was appointed to the board of directors of Nimbus Group in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Nancy Miller '81S (MBA) married Richard Bishop on August 18, 2001. Ellen Klein '82S (MBA) was in attendance. Nancy writes that she is enrolled in the master's of acupuncture program at the Tai Sophia Institute in Columbia, Md.. . . Neil Rimsky has been certified in the area of elder law by the National Elder Law Foundation. Certification provides an assurance that the attorney has an in-depth working knowledge of legal issues that affect the elderly. Neil is a partner at Cuddy & Feder & Worby, L.L.P.

Marie Faust Evitt and Eric Evitt took a tour of the coast in San Francisco on a tandem bicycle, an experience that Marie described in a September 2001 article in Woman's Day magazine. . . . Joyce Hagin married Lawrence Reich on June 30, 2001. Joyce has had a general dentistry practice in Honolulu, Hawaii, since 1985. . . . Fran Weisberg, president and CEO of Lifespan of Greater Rochester, was one of several Rochester area women nominated for the 2002 Athena Award from the Women's Council of the Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Jerome Henehan writes that he is human resources administrator for InPeake Packaging in Binghamton, N.Y. . . . Francis Straub and William Liberto '92S (MBA) were two of the four partners in M/E Engineering P.C., a company that started in 1991 and last year posted revenues of $13 million, ranking it 69 of the top 100 earning mechanical/ electrical firms nationwide, according to a Consulting-Specifying Engineer list.

Mark Anderson '78S (MBA), executive vice president for commercial markets at Citibank, has been elected to the board of trustees at St. Joseph College. . . . Richard Shorin '78S (MBA) writes to point out that David Carney is living in Washington, D.C. and publishes a weekly online newsletter called the Tech Law Journal, located at www.techlawjournal.com.. . . Lawrence Kaplan has joined Dimension Data as vice president of its financial services practice in the company's United States e-Business Services group. . . . Stuart Schwartz '79 (Mas) has joined the Water Resources Research Institute of the University of North Carolina as associate director.

Janice Copeland '84S (MBA) has researched forecasts and trends in climate and energy patterns through 2012 and has been quoted on her theories of hyperdimensional physics with effective planetary geometry on numerous radio programs. . . . Cheryl Heller, a partner at Ward, Norris, Heller, & Reidy, L.L.P., was one of several Rochester area women nominated for the 2002 Athena Award from the Women's Council of the Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce. . . . Craig Johnston will participate in a cross-country relay from Tillamook, Ore., to Boston, Mass., in May and June to raise money for multiple sclerosis research. Each runner averages just under 60 miles per week. More information can be found at www.runamerica.org. . . . Several members of the class of '78 raised nearly $30,000 in honor of James Klimschot, who died on August 31, 2001. The effort, spearheaded by John Mattioli and David Mulligan '79, resulted in having the men's assistant basketball coach's office named in James' honor. James was a four-year starter on the University basketball team and is a member of the Hall of Fame. After graduation, he worked in the athletic office and was an assistant basketball coach for five years before moving on to managing golf courses, serving as president of the world basketball association, and owning an arena football team. . . . Gloria Langston has been inducted into the Monroe (N.Y.) Community College Alumni Hall of Fame. . . . Arthur Matin has been promoted to running the McAfee division of Network Associates, Inc. . . . Mark Perlberg was named executive vice president and chief operating officer for PRG-Schultz International, Inc. . . . David Rich writes that shortly after submitting his retirement papers from the Naval Reserve, he was returned to active duty and transferred for a year to the U.S. Embassy in Tash-kent, Uzbekistan.

Gail Westhafer Webb sends an update. She received her J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve School of Law in 1986 and runs the ProsSeniors Legal Hotline from Cincinnati to provide legal, long-term care, and pension advice free for senior citizens. The number for Ohio residents is 1-800-488-6070.
