March 25th, 2025
The Susan B Anthony Center held our annual Equal Pay Day campaign to highlight the wage gap that exists between men and women in the United States.

The Susan B. Anthony Center held a special event, “Support the Supporters: Amplifying Women’s Initiatives,” a celebration of International Women’s Day 2025.
The year’s theme, “Accelerate Action,” called on communities to unite and take bold steps toward achieving gender equity. The special program highlighted the vital work of local non-profit organizations that empower women and girls in Rochester.
January 2025
The Center, in collaboration with the Office of Equity and Inclusion, held a series of workshops introducing ways to engage in open, respectful conversations that foster transparency and authentic relationships.
2024
September – December 2024
The Center, partnering with The Office of Equity and Inclusion, held a series of dialogue sessions, with the intention to create safe and open spaces for members of the University community to build a sense of connection.
September 27th, 2024
The Center held a talk on trauma-responsive care for refugee children ft. keynote speaker, Baitullah Hameedi, followed by a panel discussion and meet & greet.
September 14th, 2024
Experts Drs. Petrenko and Catherine Cerulli guided judges, attorneys, court personnel, and others through the impact of FASD on justice-involved individuals, particularly children and parents.
June 2024
The AgeWise Webinars were a series of discussions around empowering older adults for lifelong well-being, with an aim of helping older adults live safe and fulfilling lives.

The Susan B. Anthony Legacy Awards are a 75 year plus tradition honoring exceptional women from the University of Rochester community and their achievements. The Susan B. Anthony Center presents the awards annually to professional women leaders and University of Rochester undergraduate women.
