In-Person Local Learning Institutes

Our Goal with In-Person Local Learning institutes is to:

  • Provide opportunities for Noyce Scholars, Fellows, and Alumni to participate in professional learning in a more local context
  • Provide professional learning experiences that will support teachers in:
    • Developing new images of mathematics and science teaching learning and teaching
    • Exploring culturally relevant and sustaining pedagogy in the mathematics or science classroom
    • Collaborating with others across the region and across grade levels by sharing strategies and materials to support the implementation of high-quality mathematics or science instruction
    • Coming to a deeper understanding of mathematic or science learning standards at state levels
    • Staying up to date with the latest information from the field at regional, state and national levels, tapping into local and national expertise.

In-Person Local Learning Institute Catalog

The Northeast Noyce Professional Learning Network will be offering a variety of in-person local learning institutes that are hosted by Noyce Institutions in various regions of the Northeast. If you are a STEM educator preparing to work or working in a high-needs school district, we encourage you to sign up for a Local Learning Institute in your area.
