  • Provide professional learning experiences that will support teachers in:
    • Developing new images of mathematics and science teaching learning and teaching
    • Exploring culturally relevant and sustaining pedagogy in the mathematics or science classroom
    • Collaborating with others across the region and across grade levels by sharing strategies and materials to support the implementation of high-quality mathematics or science instruction
    • Coming to a deeper understanding of mathematic or science learning standards at state levels
    • Staying up to date with the latest information from the field at regional, state and national levels, tapping into local and national expertise.

Next Gen Perspectives on Climate Change

NGSS science standards have an increased focus on global climate change across all grade bands and content areas. Join us this summer as we make connections to, and better understand, light energy’s role in global climate change.

Engaging with content as learners will pave the way for us to uncover teacher moves that engage and motivate students to learn about this important environmental concept.
