Welcome to the 2026 Northeast Noyce Regional Conference!
The Northeast Noyce Regional Conference, happening March 26–28, 2026, in historic Philadelphia is just around the corner. Building on the momentum from our inaugural Boston conference, this event brings together our vibrant network of educators who’ve engaged in virtual professional learning, local institutes, and regional gatherings. Introducing our Keynote Speakers
Stephen Cooper, Ph.D., MS – Keynote – Friday, March 27
Steve’s research areas lie in computer science education, with particular interest in program visualization and in trying to understand how students learn to program. He has worked with several hundred K-12 teachers (primarily in the USA, Costa Rica, and Brazil), helping them to prepare to teach computer programming to their students.

Michelle, M. Francl, Ph.D. – Keynote – Saturday, March 28
Michelle M. Francl, Ph.D. is the Frank B. Mallory Professor of Chemistry at Bryn Mawr College and an Adjunct Scholar of the Vatican Observatory. She is a quantum chemist who has published in areas ranging from the development of methods for computational chemistry to the structures of topologically intriguing molecules.

Dylan Fedell – Keynote – Thursday evening, March 26
Dylan Fedell is a science educator serving Palisades High School in Kintnersville, Pennsylvania, where he teaches chemistry, physics, and engineering to grades 9–12. With over thirteen years of experience, he is passionate about connecting science learning to students’ everyday lives through innovative, real-world contexts and student-led initiatives.

Travel & Hotel Information
All travel arrangements should be completed at this time. If you are still in need of booking travel to the conference, please purchase your own ticket and you can submit for reimbursement (up to a specified amount). Please visit the travel page for more details regarding travel and reimbursements. If you plan to drive to the conference, mileage reimbursement will be available.
