Ready, set, science!: Putting research to work in K-8 science classrooms (Michaels, Shouse, & Schweingruber, 2008)

Ready, set, science!: Putting research to work in K-8 science classrooms (Michaels, Shouse, & Schweingruber, 2008)

Join us for a collegial book study of Ready, Set, Science!—a resource that brings powerful research on science teaching and learning to life through real classroom examples. Together, we’ll explore what kinds of instructional experiences truly help K–8 students learn science with deep understanding. Teachers will gain insight into designing engaging lessons, facilitating meaningful discussions, and supporting diverse learners in making their thinking visible. This study offers a chance to connect research to practice, reflect on classroom case studies, and collaborate with colleagues to strengthen science instruction for all students./su_box]
