The Northeast Noyce Professional Learning Network Presents

Research Framework

Advancing STEM Education Through Research and Collaboration

The Northeast Noyce STEM Education Research Framework strengthens the STEM education ecosystem across the Northeastern U.S. by connecting research with classroom practice. Aligned with the mission of the Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program, this initiative supports the recruitment, preparation, and retention of STEM educators in high-need districts. Grounded in evidence-based strategies, the framework promotes collaborative professional learning networks, culturally responsive teaching, and sustained instructional improvement. Through nine interconnected themes—from teacher leadership to AI in education—it offers actionable insights for transforming STEM teaching and learning in underserved communities.
