Graduate Student Organizations
Graduate student organizations offer social events, representation on graduate studies committees, and the opportunity for involvement in community services.
Graduate Organizing Group
The University of Rochester Graduate Organizing Group (GOG), on behalf of graduate students of the Colleges of Arts and Sciences and Engineering, participates in major faculty and administrative committees, acts as graduate student advocate, and organizes regular academic, social, and cultural events.
Graduate Student Society
The Graduate Student Society (GSS) is an organization that supports the graduate students in the School of Medicine and Dentistry and exists to coordinate social events, organize charity/volunteer activities in the community and to honor outstanding faculty and students within the SMD. GSS serves as a key interface between the faculty and the students, especially for first year students, and is the main graduate student organization that crosses departmental and cluster boundaries.
