A personal statement
Your Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) for international applicants who are non-native English speakers (except those who have graduated from a U.S. undergrad program with at least two years of study).
Official score reporting is optional, but strongly recommended, for the GRE/GMAT and required for TOEFL/IELTS. Applicants who self-report their scores must send an official score report from ETS for verification to the University of Rochester School of Arts, Sciences and Engineering using the institution code 2928 for the GRE and 7267 for the TOEFL. Please use department codes 1699 Engineering – Other for GRE scores and 99 for TOEFL scores.
TEAM Application Qualifications
Strong academic record and an undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, biology, chemistry, physics, or mathematics.
Impressive standardized test scores.
Satisfy admissions requirements of the University of Rochester School of Arts and Sciences and the Edmund A. Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences as well as the Simon Business School.
Possess the abilities to both lead and work effectively in teams.
Have interest in developing skills in business, technology management, and entrepreneurship.
Have interest in a career in industrial management, high technology management, R&D management or even technology entrepreneurship in a start-up company.
Would like to combine a core entrepreneurship curriculum with a master’s level technical education.
