The freedom and encouragement to take classes outside my major - I majored in optics but took classes in French, Italian, economics, and even dance!
What advice would you give an incoming student?
Don't fret about picking a major in your first year - shop around and sit in on classes, you might find a passion for something you never even considered in the first place.
