When you enrolled at Rochester, you became connected to a community of more than 100,000 alumni University-wide. The connection between students and alumni unite Rochester's past, present, and future. Within the Office of Alumni Relations, the Student and Alumni Engagement Team drives efforts that strengthen old and create new tradition that deepen University pride and bring together our current and future alumni (you!).
Participate in our University's traditions, connect with alumni who share your academic and extracurricular interests, and join us for social, educational, and career networking events.
College Undergraduate Student Organizations
If your club or council has been in existence for a while, there are likely alumni who, as past members of the group, might like to keep up-to-date with current group activities. These past group members not only have been where you are now, but they have also acquired knowledge and experience since graduating that might be helpful to you and your organization.
We can help you:
- Communicate with your alumni by email or newsletter
- Invite alumni to campus events
- Involve alumni as speakers or panelists—in-person or virtually (i.e. via Skype)
- Host a student organization/alumni event
Ready to connect with alumni? Review this "Get Connected" tip sheet, talk with your advisor, and send the completed proposal form to AnneMarie Cucci at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her with your questions (585.273.2863).
Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA)
SAAs are positive, responsible, and enthusiastic students that represent the student body within the alumni community. If you enjoy meeting new people, expanding your personal and professional networks, and want to develop leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.
Senior Giving Campaign
The senior giving campaign marks a significant milestone of our senior year and represents our transition towards becoming alumni. We invite you to make the University ever better and join the Class of 2018 in shaping the future of the University of Rochester.
