Which staff member influenced you the most?
Amy Lunn – As my Q&i Supervisor for nearly three years, Amy was an incredibly supportive presence in my life not only in my growth as an employee but also as a student. She genuinely cared about the personal well-being of each member of her team, and we developed a deep and lasting bond. Even years later, she continues to support my journey. I’m truly grateful to have had such a nurturing and kind figure on campus.
What’s your favorite place on campus?
PRR! In the midst of the noise and energy of student life, PRR was my sanctuary. It gave me the quiet and focus I needed to actually get work done especially during midterms and finals seasons. It definitely became my go to space for productivity and peace on campus.
What was your favorite Rochester experience?
Senior Week! Experiencing Rochester one last time with my classmates and celebrating the hard work that brought us to that moment was truly unforgettable. Being part of Class Council made it even more meaningful having worked with such an incredible group to shape those final memories was very rewarding.
What advice would you give an incoming student?
Explore as much as you can. Whether it’s a random class that piques your interest or a club you never imagined joining, say yes to new experiences. I learned so much about myself, what I enjoy, what I don’t, and what truly lights me up just by stepping outside my comfort zone. You might just stumble upon the thing that sparks your joy and shapes your entire journey.
