Meditation class for the Black community
“Meditative Guide for Us” is a class from the Mindful University Project designed specifically for the University’s Black community. Led by Deontae McLachlan, the experience draws from personal insights to help participants manage racial stress, cultivate self-care, and enhance inner strength. Wilmot Cancer Survivorship Symposium
Cancer patients, caregivers, and healthcare workers are invited to Wilmot Cancer Institute’s 2024 virtual Cancer Survivorship Symposium on Friday, December 6, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Learn more about various aspects of cancer survivorship, including tips for adolescents and young adults with cancer, dealing with “scanxiety,” recognizing the caregiver role, navigating sexual wellness after a cancer diagnosis, and more.
