THINGS TO DO

Fill your plate

Cheeseburger garbage plate at Nick Tahou Hots.

No late night is complete without a Rochester-style “plate”—most famously the Garbage Plate at Nick Tahou Hots, and one of our recent 12 local essential experiences. Cheeseburgers or hot dogs, meat sauce or made vegan, the options around town to have a plate your way are seemingly endless.

If keeping it regional is your jam, members of the University community can also head to the next YoUR Market in Sarah Flaum Atrium on Wednesday, July 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Hosted by the URMC Fitness Center and Friends of Strong, the market features edible goods from local businesses.
