University offers rewarding path to financial aid

Rochester was one of ten “Innovation Partners” in a new micro-scholarship platform called Raise.me, which allows high school students to bank money toward tuition costs when then record good grades, start a club, or volunteer in their community.

WeBWorK an award-winning way of learning from homework

Twenty years ago, the idea of students doing homework online and receiving immediate feedback was a game-changer. Today, more than 700 colleges and high schools and using the WeBWorK system developed by Rochester math professors Arnold Pizer and Michael Gage.

India Baja team gets ride of their lives in Rettner Hall ‘fab lab’

Rochester’s Baja team is serving as host ambassadors to Team Helios Racing. The students flew 19 hours, stopping at JFK International Airport in New York City, and arrived Monday.
