Adam Pacheck named Academic All-American

Adam Pacheck has been elected to the Capital One Academic All-America Second Team for Men’s Cross Country and Track & Field in Division III. To qualify for the team, athletes must be of sophomore standing or higher and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or higher on a 4.00 scale.

Sixteen reap All-America honors in ’13-14

In terms of individual success, Rochester enjoyed one of its finest seasons this year. A total of 16 student-athletes earned All-America honors for their achievements, representing soccer, squash, swimming, diving, golf, rowing, and softball.

Festival brings student films to the big screen

A diverse group of 19 student films was presented at the University’s 9th annual Gollin Film Festival on Wednesday, May 1, with the top films winning $1,200 in cash prizes.

Rochester students to build community center in South Africa

This summer Rochester students John Dawson ’13/T5’14 and Katherine Wegman ’15, will spend two months in Cape Town, South Africa, building a new community center for residents of Egoli, a squatter community on the outskirts of Cape Town.
