Grads can ‘cap’ their day in style at decorating event

May 9, 2016

It’s Commencement Week, and seniors can decorate their graduation cap for free on Thursday, May 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Hirst Lounge, Wilson Commons.

The annual event is part of Seniors Week and is sponsored by Wilson Commons Student Activities.

Bring your graduation cap and ¬†your imagination, and choose from paint, stickers, letters and much more to “cap” your day in style. Graduating seniors also can have their photo taken in front of a memory board that highlights what students will miss most about the University.

Bubble guns will be given to the first 200 participants.

There also will be a Forever Better Challenge table. Students who have contributed can pick up a “donor” pin to wear on graduation day.
