Internationally recognized pioneer in vision science and its applications is named the next director of one of the University’s most highly regarded research centers.

A University committee has been appointed to begin a national search for the position of vice president and chief human resources officer—the first University-wide position at this level.

He will bring together people from across academic disciplines to collaborate in the study of the African diaspora and offer programming that promotes African and African American studies at the University.
