Summer season is construction season
The summer of 2016 is one of the most active construction periods of all time on River Campus. Multiple new facilities and improvement projects are currently underway, with many scheduled to be completed by the fall.
New residence hall to overlook University’s Prince Athletic Complex
Construction will begin this summer on a new 72,000 square- foot residence hall on River Campus that will house 151 first-year students and is scheduled to open in fall 2017.
Renovations at Interfaith Chapel
The Interfaith Chapel sanctuary is being renovated to accommodate an increasingly diverse religious and spiritual campus community. Updates include new carpeting, a handicap-accessible lectern platform, a hearing loop to improve sound quality for the hearing-impaired, and expanded seating for up to 500 people.
Wegmans Hall work underway

LeChase Hall to Feature Wentworth Atrium
The Wentworths made the gift “in grateful appreciation to the University for its mission of education and research,” designating it to the “long-term facility needs of the Warner School of Education.”
Paving Planned for Mt. Hope Avenue Corridor
The southbound lanes of Mt. Hope Avenue will be closed for paving from Sept. 20–28. Traffic patterns will also be changed to pave Raleigh Street, Rossitor Road,Crittenden Boulevard, and the Elmwood and Mt. Hope Avenue intersection.
Parking Lots to be Repaired
The Hill Court, Bridge, and Trustee parking lots will be closed Aug. 18-19.
