Two local high school seniors have been named scholars in the prestigious Regeneron Science Talent Search for summer research projects they worked on at the University’s Laboratory for Laser Energetics.

Yifan Kong worked on her experiment at the University’s Laboratory for Laser Energetics (LLE).

Emily Armstrong, a high school senior, is among the 300 semi-finalists nationwide chosen from the 1,712 who entered the prestigious competition.
