There’s really only one event to highlight this weekend and that’s commencement weekend at the University. The feature will resume in September. In the meantime, find events happening daily on the University Events Calendar and in the monthly highlights feature, where you’ll find things to do on the River Campus, the Eastman School of Music, the Memorial Art Gallery, Medical Center, and College Town.

#1: Celebrate Commencement Weekend

Commencement celebrations are underway as the University will host the 166th Commencement Ceremonies on May 13, 14, and 15, on the River Campus and Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.  The College ceremony will feature an address by Erica Fee ’99, founding producer and board president of the First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival, on Sunday, May 15. Fee, a Rochester native, ran her own London-based theatrical production company and is the first American to receive the New Producer’s Award from StageOne (Society of London Theatres). The College commencement ceremony will be streamed live at www.rochester.edu/commencement/webcast.  For more details and individual ceremonies, visit www.rochester.edu/commencement.
