University of Rochester fraternity and sorority community to host 5th annual Greek or Treat event for city after-school program on Friday, Oct. 30

WHAT: The University of Rochester’s fraternity and sorority community will host 90 students from the “Quad A For Kids” after-school program. Around 25 University chapters will participate. Events include trick-or-treating, a “mummy wrap,” where students turn themselves and others into mummies; a haunted obstacle course, a doughnut-on-a-string eating competition and a haunted house.

WHEN:  4-5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30 at the fraternity quad on the University of Rochester’s River Campus

ABOUT QUAD A: It offers programs for Rochester’s urban youth outside the normal school hours in a safe environment with caring adults. The program’s motto is “Off the streets and on to life.” The students will be bused to the River Campus from Quad A For Kids headquarters on Lexington Ave.
