The MADE4STEM professional learning institute integrates place-based STEM pedagogy, makerspace technology, and proven strategies for teachers to strengthen their STEM teaching. Makerspaces (physical locations with the materials necessary for creative design) and the maker movement are an emerging field, and teachers can leverage them to support student STEM learning and improve their STEM instruction. We hope to provide a community of teachers who can support each other while building knowledge, skills, beliefs, and dispositions for enacting place-based STEM pedagogy and maker-enhanced STEM instruction.
If you are a Noyce participant in and around the Baltimore, Delaware or Washington, DC region, we encourage you to register starting January 1, 2026.
