Learning Science and Mathematics in Spite of the Noise of Mis/disinformation

Overview

This three hour session will engage participants in learning experiences to discern bias in analyzing and interpreting information both within themselves and others. We will work to generate ideas and methods for minimizing mis/disinformation in those with whom we work with, while honoring their culture and autonomy while deepening understanding of STEM as a social practice and way of knowing about the natural world.
