The Northeast Noyce Professional Learning Network Presents
Hosted by West Chester University
700 South High Street
West Chester, PA, 19383
NGSS has increased focus on global climate change across all grade bands. Join us as we better understand and make connections to light energy’s role in global climate change. Engaging with content as learners will pave the way for us to uncover teacher moves that engage and motivate students to learn.
If you are a STEM educator in and around the West Chester region, we encourage you to register now!
We will use the phenomenon of wildfires to take a closer look at how energy enters and leaves Earth’s atmosphere. We will take the morning to experience this phenomenon as learners and grow our conceptual understanding of energy and light. We will then use an Ambitious Science Teaching framework, the afternoon will involve a deep dive into NGSS and three-dimensional teaching and learning.
