Founded in 2015, the Learning Policy Institute (LPI) conducts and communicates independent, high-quality research to improve education policy and practice. LPI seeks to advance evidence-based policies at the local, state, and federal levels that support empowering and equitable learning for each and every child. Nonprofit and nonpartisan, LPI works with policymakers, researchers, educators, community groups, and others to strengthen the education system from preschool through college and career readiness.

The STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, & Medicine) Opportunity Alliance is a nationwide initiative led by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), with founding support from the Doris Duke Foundation (DDF). SOA is committed to propelling the STEMM community to its greatest potential by tapping our nation’s culturally rich, innovative and diverse talent pool to expand the STEMM workforce. Launched in December 2022 at the inaugural White House Summit on STEMM Equity and Excellence, SOA is engaging hundreds of cross sector partners to develop and implement a national strategy to achieve STEMM equity and excellence by 2050.  

DataClassroom Inc was founded in 2018, with the mission to improve data literacy outcomes in educational systems worldwide.

We see data literacy as an important skill for all, whether used in a profession or in the role of citizen, navigating in a world where critical thinking is key to participation in democracy.
