How to Register for Summer Courses
Summer 2008
Matriculated, non-matriculated students and students taking non-credit classes
Step 1: Select your courses.
- View the Course Schedule.
- Need help? Make an appointment with an advisor in the Office of Part-time Studies (275-2344) or the Center for Academic Support (275-2354).
Step 2: Fill out Registration and Financial Statement Forms.
- Course numbers, titles, and credits are found in the Summer Bulletin or in the on-line course listings on this site.
- Financial Statements MUST be signed or your registration WILL NOT be processed.
- For payment options, see table on the back of the Financial Statement form.
Step 3: Register (by mail or in person).
- Register by mail 15 business days prior to the start of your class
- Enclose Full tuition payment and mail registration and financial statement forms to the Registrar’s Office (address on reverse of Registration Form)
- Registration opens April 1st. You may register in person on or before the first day of your class.
Take your completed forms and full tuition payment to:
Bursar’s Office, 330 Meliora Hall
Hours: M,T,R,F 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., W 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

When you turn in your financial statement and payment, the bursar will stamp your registration form. You must then take your stamped form to the Registrar’s Office, 312 Lattimore Hall, to finalize the registration.
NOTE: After the first day of your class, have your instructor sign the registration form and take your completed forms and full tuition payment to the Registrar’s Office, 312 Lattimore Hall.
Step 4: Confirm your registration.
- Call the Registrar’s Office, 275-8131.
- Ask for a student UR ACCESS plus PIN. You will be able to confirm your registration, check your schedule, classroom, professors, etc. on-line.
- Confirm your registration by telephone.
- The University will not send you a copy of your schedule or a confirmation of your registration. You are responsible for confirming registration before the start of your class.
Step 5: Obtain an ID card.
Once registered, go to:
ID Office, Susan B. Anthony Hall, 1st Floor.

Step 6: Obtain a parking sticker.
- Fill out the parking registration form and take it to:
Parking Office, 15 Fauver Stadium

Payment Options
Prior balances MUST be paid before Registration
Cash- in person only, at Bursar’s Office
Check- payable to the University of Rochester
Credit Card- Fill out the lower portion of the Financial Statement, (see restrictions on form)
