Presidential Diversity Awards

Kit Miller, director of the MK Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence, and Caroline Nestro ’18W (PhD), a senior associate in the Department of Psychiatry, are the recipients of the 2020 Presidential Diversity Award. 

Myra Henry, the senior director of administrative services, and the Commission on Women and Gender Equity in Academia have been chosen as recipients of the 2018 Presidential Diversity Awards.

Molly Murdock, an advocate for gender equity in music performance and scholarship, and Jonathan Wetherbee, cochair of the University's Pride Alliance, have each received the 2018 Presidential Diversity Award.

This year’s winners were chosen from among five nominees who were recommended by their colleagues for their commitment to diversity.

The Eastman Pathways Program and Kristin Hocker, an organizational development specialist with Human Resources, were honored as the University’s 2015 Presidential Diversity Award recipients.
