In addition to discounted child care already available to the University community at the Children’s School at URMC, a new Child Care Select program will offer University faculty, staff, and students a 10 percent tuition discount at several area child-care centers.
“We’re pleased to support families with young children by offering the University community access to quality child-care options at a discounted rate,” says Tony Kinslow, associate vice president for human resources.
Participating centers in the Rochester area:
- Penfield KinderCare, 1606 Penfield Road
- Fairport KinderCare, 6839 Pittsford-Palmyra Road
- Webster KinderCare, 856 Holt Road
- Fisher’s Run KinderCare, 615 Fishers Run, Victor
- CCLC at Rochester General Hospital, 770 Carter Street
The discount program goes into effect September 9. To receive the tuition discount, show your University ID to the center director at a participating location.
In addition to full- and part-time care, the centers offers school days off programs, vacation days, and drop-in care for school closings.
If you need child care outside of the Rochester area, the discount is also available at KinderCare, CCLC, and Champions locations nationwide.
