Alice DiOrio McDowell is the author of The
Good News: It’s Cancer. She writes, “It’s about the transformation
of my life by having cancer twice—the struggles I faced, the determination
I had to grow as a person, the emotional baggage carried from childhood that
one needs to shed in order to be healthy and free emotionally, physically, and
spiritually. Having the illness taught me how to accomplish that.”

Classmates and friends of Nancy Melvin Taylor

Molly Fardette Albright ’99 (MS) writes,
“My husband, Jeff, and I had our first child on July 26, 2003. Her name
is Amelia Quinn, and she’s a doll!”

Trisha McNamara ’01 (MS) and Mark Lindstrom
were married on October 18, 2003, in Utica, N.Y. Alumni who attended were Melissa

(MS), and Laurie Brown Mansfield ’00. Trisha
is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York
City.
