Diane Mason Jansen was honored by the Christian
Medical Society of Honduras “for her years of service [on] the medical
projects [aiding] the needy people of Honduras.”
1986
Fran Panzella London ’91 (MS) writes, “I
work as a health education specialist at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
I am the author of No Time to Teach? A Nurse’s Guide to Patient and
Family Education and the coauthor of Patient Education in Health and
Illness, 5th edition. In addition, my mental health nursing education and
experience has taught me the importance of the healing power of humor, so I
have published another book whose audience extends beyond nursing, The Laughing
Buddha Box.”
1988
Jackie Shapiro Robbins writes, “Susan
Brockman Zamer passed away on July 28, after a two-year battle with breast
cancer. Sue was an inspiration to everyone around her for her endless courage.
She lived in Maryland with her husband, Tom, and her three beautiful children,
Kylie, Allyson, and Zachary. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.”
