Don Stedman (MA) retired in 2004 as professor and dean emeritus of education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He and his wife, Helen, will remain in Chapel Hill but intend to visit western New York often.

Barbara Aex Miller Dunn W (Mas) (see ’91 undergraduate). . . . David O’Brien (PhD), Loyola Professor of Roman Catholic Studies in the history department at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., received the 2005 Marianist Award from the University of Dayton. The award is given to “a Roman Catholic who has made an outstanding contribution to scholarship and intellectual life.”

Ramachandra (Ram) Bhagavatula S (MBA) is managing director and portfolio manager for Combinatorics Capital, a hedge firm in New York City. . . . Warren Phelps S (MBA) is president of Spirent Communications in Calabasas, Calif., and a trustee of St. Lawrence University.

Roland Caputo S (MBA) writes, “While I was playing an ice hockey game at the Hommocks Ice Rink in Larchmont, N.Y., in fall 2003, another player must have heard someone call me ‘Roland’ and asked me if I was Roland Caputo. I gambled that he wasn’t a process server and said yes. After looking closely through his facemask, I recognized Mike Kanterman S (MBA), a friend from Simon whom I had not seen in almost 20 years.
