Meet Page Hetzel: Vice President for Marketing and Communications

Page Hetzel joined the University of Rochester in October 2023 as vice president for marketing and communications. She’s the first person to serve in this new VP role, marking the formal addition of marketing to the department’s charter and mission.

Hetzel previously served as associate dean and chief communications and marketing officer at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She brings extensive experience, expertise, and vision to this redefined leadership role.

About Page Hetzel

Page Hetzel brings extensive marketing and communications experience to the team, from both higher education and the private sector. Most recently, Hetzel worked at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She started there in 2012 as the school’s first director of digital marketing and ultimately became the school’s chief communications and marketing officer.

Having grown up in the Greater Rochester area, Hetzel was very familiar with the University—and excited to come back home for this role.
