Greetings from the Fraternity and Sorority Community!

The spring semester is coming to a close, but there is never a dull moment in Fraternity and Sorority Affairs! We have been busy recognizing the accomplishments of our student leaders, putting the finishing touches on our new Values Ambassador program, finalizing our Expectations for Excellence reviews, and planning Meliora Weekend events. This issue provides greater detail on these initiatives.

I am happy to announce the selection of our new assistant director of fraternity and sorority affairs, AnneMarie Cucci. AnneMarie brings a student-focused passion to the position. She possesses a strong understanding of Rochester students and culture as well as new ideas for assessing and supporting fraternity and sorority life at the College. In this role, AnneMarie will work closely with all recognized fraternities and sororities on program advisement. She also will advise the Order of Omega honor society and Multicultural Greek Council while providing resources and support to chapter advocates and alumni advisors.

As we move into the summer months, we look forward to strategizing how we can continue improving the support for our fraternities and sororities. Please let us know if you have any feedback or suggestions—we look forward to brainstorming with you.

Congratulations to all of our graduating seniors—I look forward to your continued involvement as alumni and hope to see you all for Meliora Weekend!

Sincerely,

John DiSarro

Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs
