- Learn effective ways for utilizing the Pcard as a strategic resource in your department financial toolbox.
Wednesday, April 15, 10:00 – 11:00am – Educational topic: What to Expect in a Pcard Audit
- Will provide resources for how to best collaborate with University Audit when undergoing a department financial audit review.
- Examples of purchase/payment criteria that the Pcard Administrator looks for when reviewing Pcard transactions, and how to put your department in the best position to not have Pcard expenses selected for audit review.
Monday, May 18, 11:00am – 12:00pm – Educational topic: Pcard & Fiscal Year End Deadlines
- The end of fiscal year is a common time for departments to make greater use of their Pcards to ensure expenses post to their ledgers in a timely manner. Here we will discuss best practices and strategies for managing end of FY expenses with Pcard.
Thursday, June 18, 10:00 – 11:00am – Educational topic: ‘Why Can’t I Use My Pcard for Everything?’ : A Study in Acceptable & Restricted Use
- The most common question asked with Pcards is whether cards can be used for certain expenses or not. In this session we will review which categories of expenses are acceptable to purchase/pay with Pcard and which are restricted, and provide users with valuable context into why certain expenses cannot be paid via credit card.
