Sarah began working in libraries as an undergraduate student employee in New York City at Marymount Manhattan College. From there she has spent her library career in academic and research libraries. In 2002, Sarah started working at Rush Rhees Library as a part-time Acquisitions assistant. Five years later she began her studies for a Masters in Library Science (MLS) from the University at Buffalo. After completion Sarah moved into a supervisory position and in 2021, she started working in her current role.

As the Finance and Alma Analytics Librarian, Sarah oversees the Acquisitions Finance Unit and is the UR Libraries’ lead for the libraries’ management system’s analytics functional area. This position energizes Sarah as each day is never the same and she’s constantly learning. As a lifelong learner, working in a library is ideal.

Outside of the university, Sarah is a professionally trained dancer currently teaching and choreographing children and young adults in the area. When she’s not at the library or the dance studio, Sarah is busy taking care of her dog and two kids with her husband.

**Fun fact: Sarah’s affiliation with the University of Rochester began at the age of six when she first performed at the Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre as part of the Hartford Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker.
