Campaign Areas of Focus for the

                School of Medicine and Dentistry

As the needs of our students, faculty, and the health care industry change, so too will the
opportunities for donors looking to transform health care. Your support helps us better

prepare for current challenges and proactively plan for the future.

                     ENDOWED PROFESSORSHIPS AND TEACHING FELLOWSHIPS

Professorships recognize and foster excellence, and are among the
most coveted and defining rewards that a faculty member
can receive. These enduring funds allow us to honor acclaimed
leaders who perform groundbreaking research; teach and mentor
                 Ph.D. candidates, junior faculty, medical students, and residents;
and provide quality health care to patients. Your generosity
allows us to recognize, retain, and recruit top researchers,
educators, and clinicians. In addition, your support of teaching
fellowships will ensure our practicing physicians and researchers are
able to spend the time educating future health care leaders.

                    INNOVATIONS IN EDUCATION

Today’s medical professionals need to work in teams and use
the latest technology during surgery, at the bedside, and in the
examination room, to diagnose and treat patients, keep records,
and reference information. You can help health care professionals
learn how to incorporate technology into our biopsychosocial
approach. Your gift will help support interprofessional training
and a new state-of-the-art simulation center so that faculty, staff,
and students can enhance their clinical skills and become better
                 health care professionals.
