DEE MOLINARI

For Deanne “Dee” Molinari ’58, the oldest of four children in a family of modest means, attending the University of Rochester was a dream come true.

A Founding Member of the Wilson Society, Dee is now helping to provide a similar experience for talented students who might not otherwise be able to afford it with the Molinari Family Scholarship Fund at the Eastman School of Music. The scholarship, which honors her family’s appreciation for music, was created through a provision in her will and a charitable gift annuity that pays her a rate of six percent for life. She has also included a provision in her will to establish the Dee Molinari Education Fund at the Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester that will help to ensure a vibrant future for the visual arts.

“I want my money to go to the things I value,” said Dee. “Planning has made that possible.”

Dee, retired from a career in higher education student life administration, is pictured in front of the Memorial Art Gallery where she is a longtime volunteer.
