Professional MBA

The Simon Professional MBA program develops your ability to make strong business decisions by taking an economics-based approach. In as few as two and a half years of coursework, you’ll gain the benefits of the full Simon MBA experience, including our analytically rigorous curriculum, career development resources, and world-renowned faculty. The program allows flexibility for students to pace their studies to best fit their personal and professional needs.

The Professional MBA is a strong fit for individuals looking for growth and advancement opportunities; professionals looking for well-rounded business acumen; and those interested in sharpening their business knowledge in a particular area of specialization. Five years of experience preferred. Simon’s Professional MBA is a non-visa-sponsoring program.

Master's Degrees and RequirementsLink to section

To earn the Master of Business Administration degree, students in Simon’s PMBA program take 9 core courses, the required Managerial Communications course, and 10 electives, one of which must be a project course. They must have a minimum 3.0 grade-point average to complete the degree. Although not required, students may complete a specialization or minors. Students can earn a STEM designation for their MBA if 50% or more of the minimum credits required for the degree come from STEM-designated courses. STEM-designated courses are indicated with an asterisk (*).
